What is outbound AI calling for a clinic?

It is the list of calls every clinic means to make and rarely gets to: the patient who did not turn up, the review the doctor asked for, the vaccination that is due, the person who enquired from your Instagram ad. Pluxo makes those calls in the patient's language, books them into a real slot and tells you how each one went. It calls only your patients and people who asked to hear from you.

One missed appointment, two endings.

Questions clinics ask us.

The things people type into Google before they call us, answered straight.

Is it legal for a clinic to call patients with AI?

Calling back someone who enquired, or calling a patient about their own appointment, is a service call they asked for. That is the only kind Pluxo makes. Cold or promotional robocalls are different: TRAI restricts them to registered telemarketers on 140-series numbers, and the NMC's October 2026 guidelines rule out AI promotional campaigns for doctors and hospitals. Pluxo does not make them.

How do I reduce patient no-shows?

Two things work: a reminder the day before and on the morning, and a call within the hour when someone does not turn up, before they forget or go elsewhere. Pluxo does both, in the patient's language.

Will people know they are talking to an AI?

Yes, from the first sentence: it says it is your hospital's or clinic's AI assistant. It keeps calls short, and anyone who wants a person is passed to your team with the conversation already written up.

Can it call in Hindi and regional languages?

Yes. Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the person speaks and switches if they do, so a caller who starts in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.

What does an AI calling agent cost in India?

For a hospital or chain it depends on how many enquiries and calls you get, how many branches, and which languages. We work it out on a 15-minute call and send a clear monthly quote. For a single-doctor clinic, the published plan on our pricing page already includes AI call minutes.

Do I need new software?

No. You tell us who to call, from your patient list or your enquiry sources, and when. Pluxo makes the calls and your team gets the outcomes.

Telecallers, a lead CRM, or Pluxo?

Most hospitals and chains run the first two. Here is what changes.

Who it calls, and who it never does.

More questions.

Which outbound calls can it make?
Appointment reminders, missed visits rebooked, reviews and check-ups the doctor advised, vaccination due dates, report-ready calls, and call backs to people who enquired from your ads or website. It does not make promotional, bulk or cold calls.
Does it call patients at odd hours?
No. It calls only in the hours you set, with a limit on attempts, and at any specific time a patient asks for.
What if a patient asks a medical question?
It does not give medical advice. It notes the question and passes it to your doctor or desk, and offers to book a visit.
