AI Receptionist for Cardiology Clinics

In cardiology, the phone has to know an emergency from an appointment.

Most calls to a heart clinic are routine: timings, ECG slots, review dates. A few are not. Pluxo books the routine ones in the patient's language and tells anyone describing chest pain to call emergency services first.

The problem

Where the calls slip through.

Review patients on long-term medication miss check-ups because nobody reminded them.

"Is the ECG done on the same day?", "Do I need to fast for the tests?", "Is the doctor in today?" all morning.

Callers mention "heartburn" and a hurried desk books them with the cardiologist.

A treadmill test, an echo and a consult each need different time and equipment.

Evening calls go unanswered, including the ones that needed a clear instruction.

How Pluxo solves this

Built for how a cardiology clinic actually runs.

Emergencies first, always

Chest pain, breathlessness or fainting: the caller is told to hang up and call their local emergency number before anything else.

Hears what the caller means

"Acidity" or "heartburn" goes to a physician or gastroenterologist. Chest pain and palpitations go to cardiology.

Tests booked with their preparation

ECG, echo and treadmill slots each get the length you set, with fasting or preparation instructions from your facts.

Reviews that patients keep

Regular reviews are booked at the interval you set and reminded on WhatsApp.

Speaks the patient's language

English, Hindi and nine more Indian languages.

Handoffs with context

Anything it cannot answer reaches your team on WhatsApp with the full transcript.

How a call goes

A cardiology clinic call, start to finish.

An example with a made-up clinic.

  1. Pluxo

Hello, this is Heartline Clinic's AI receptionist. This call may be recorded. How can I help?

  2. Patient

I need my three-month review with Dr. Shetty. Do I need to fast for the blood test?

  3. Pluxo

The clinic asks for ten hours of fasting before that test. Dr. Shetty has Monday at 9:30, which works well for fasting. Shall I send it to your WhatsApp?

  4. Patient

    Yes, Monday.

  5. Pluxo

Booked. You'll get a reminder on Sunday evening with the fasting instructions.

  6. Your team

A routine review, booked and reminded without anyone at the desk picking up the phone.

Languages

11 languages, and it follows the caller.

The receptionist speaks English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the patient starts in and switches if they do, so a caller who opens in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.

You choose which languages your clinic offers and which one it greets in. A clinic in Pune might greet in Marathi and offer Hindi and English. A clinic in Bengaluru might offer five.

What it costs

One published price, minutes included.

Core is ₹2,999 a month plus GST. It includes 250 AI call minutes every month, unlimited WhatsApp, reminders and follow-ups, and your first doctor. There is no setup fee and no commission on bookings.

Paying for a longer term takes 8 percent off quarterly and 20 percent off yearly. Extra doctors start at ₹999 a month each and get cheaper as the team grows. If a busy month uses more than the included minutes, top-ups cost ₹5.50 to ₹7.50 a minute depending on the pack, bought ahead from the dashboard.

Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page, which also works out the total for your number of doctors and term. For how this compares with other tools sold to Indian clinics, see the AI receptionist pricing guide.

What it does not do

Where it stops, on purpose.

A receptionist that oversteps is worse than one that misses a call. These are the lines Pluxo does not cross.

  • It does not give medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose, even when a caller insists. It says the doctor will look at it properly and offers a slot.
  • In an emergency it tells the caller to hang up and call their local emergency number, before anything else.
  • It does not read out reports or approve prescription refills. It notes the request and your team follows up.
  • It never offers a time that is not in a doctor’s real schedule, and never double-books.
  • It does not pretend to be human. It says it is the clinic’s AI receptionist in its first sentence.
  • It does not quote a price you have not given it. Anything it cannot answer goes to your team on WhatsApp, with the conversation attached.
