AI Receptionist for ENT Clinics

Ear, nose and throat patients call in a hurry. Someone should answer.

Blocked ears, a child's earache, a throat that will not settle: ENT calls are short, urgent and frequent. Pluxo answers each one in the caller's language, books the consult or the hearing test, and sends the reminder.

The problem

Where the calls slip through.

A parent calls about a child's ear pain during OPD. The line is busy, so they try the next clinic.

"Do you do hearing tests?", "Is the endoscopy done the same day?", "What are the timings?" fill the morning.

An audiometry slot and a five-minute review need different lengths, and a paper diary books them the same.

Post-procedure check-ups after a sinus or tonsil surgery slip because nobody calls to remind.

Evening callers with a sudden hearing loss reach a closed clinic and no clear instruction.

How Pluxo solves this

Built for how a ENT clinic actually runs.

Tests and consults booked separately

Audiometry, endoscopy and consults each get the length and the room you set, so a test never lands in a five-minute gap.

Follow-ups that happen

Post-surgery reviews are booked at the interval you set, with a WhatsApp reminder before each one.

Clear after-hours answers

It gives the clinic's hours and the next open slot, and tells anyone describing an emergency to call their local emergency number.

Speaks the patient's language

English, Hindi and nine more Indian languages, switching if the caller does.

Questions answered from your facts

Which tests you do, how long they take, what to bring. It answers only from what you have told it.

Every call in one place

Transcripts, bookings and handoffs land in one dashboard your front desk can run from a phone.

How a call goes

A ENT clinic call, start to finish.

An example with a made-up clinic. The parent calls in Telugu; it is shown here in English.

  1. Pluxo

Hello, this is Clear Sound ENT's AI receptionist. This call may be recorded. How can I help?

  2. Patient

My son has had ear pain since morning. Can the doctor see him today?

  3. Pluxo

Dr. Reddy has a slot at 5:20 this evening. I've sent it to your WhatsApp. Tap it to confirm.

  4. Patient

Done. Does he need a hearing test too?

  5. Pluxo

The doctor will decide that at the visit. If a test is needed, it can usually be done the same evening.

  6. Your team

The booking is in Dr. Reddy's calendar with the parent's question noted on it.

Languages

11 languages, and it follows the caller.

The receptionist speaks English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the patient starts in and switches if they do, so a caller who opens in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.

You choose which languages your clinic offers and which one it greets in. A clinic in Pune might greet in Marathi and offer Hindi and English. A clinic in Bengaluru might offer five.

What it costs

One published price, minutes included.

Core is ₹2,999 a month plus GST. It includes 250 AI call minutes every month, unlimited WhatsApp, reminders and follow-ups, and your first doctor. There is no setup fee and no commission on bookings.

Paying for a longer term takes 8 percent off quarterly and 20 percent off yearly. Extra doctors start at ₹999 a month each and get cheaper as the team grows. If a busy month uses more than the included minutes, top-ups cost ₹5.50 to ₹7.50 a minute depending on the pack, bought ahead from the dashboard.

Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page, which also works out the total for your number of doctors and term. For how this compares with other tools sold to Indian clinics, see the AI receptionist pricing guide.

What it does not do

Where it stops, on purpose.

A receptionist that oversteps is worse than one that misses a call. These are the lines Pluxo does not cross.

  • It does not give medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose, even when a caller insists. It says the doctor will look at it properly and offers a slot.
  • In an emergency it tells the caller to hang up and call their local emergency number, before anything else.
  • It does not read out reports or approve prescription refills. It notes the request and your team follows up.
  • It never offers a time that is not in a doctor’s real schedule, and never double-books.
  • It does not pretend to be human. It says it is the clinic’s AI receptionist in its first sentence.
  • It does not quote a price you have not given it. Anything it cannot answer goes to your team on WhatsApp, with the conversation attached.
