AI Receptionist for Endocrinology Clinics

Diabetes and thyroid care runs on reviews. Keep every one of them.

Endocrine patients come back for years: HbA1c every three months, thyroid every six, weight-management check-ins in between. Pluxo answers their calls in their language, books the review, and reminds them before it.

The problem

Where the calls slip through.

Patients due for an HbA1c review simply do not come back, and nobody notices for months.

"Do I need to fast?", "Can I take my tablet before the test?", "Are reports ready?" fill the phone line.

Programmes with many sessions need rebooking that a busy desk cannot keep up with.

Callers in the family's language get lost when the receptionist speaks only two.

Report requests and prescription refill calls pile up for the doctor.

How Pluxo solves this

Built for how a endocrinology clinic actually runs.

Reviews at the right interval

Three-monthly, six-monthly or programme sessions are booked at the interval you set and reminded on WhatsApp.

Fasting and test instructions

It answers preparation questions from the instructions you give it, the same way every time.

Reports and refills noted, not guessed

It never reads out results or approves a refill. It notes the request for your team to follow up.

Speaks the patient's language

English, Hindi and nine more Indian languages, which matters for patients who stay for years.

Programme bookings

Multi-session programmes are booked as a course, and rescheduled on WhatsApp against real availability.

Running in a real clinic

EQUA, an obesity care centre in Bengaluru, runs its front desk on Pluxo.

How a call goes

A endocrinology clinic call, start to finish.

An example with a made-up clinic, on WhatsApp.

  1. Patient

Hi, my sugar test is due. When can I come, and should I fast?

  2. Pluxo

Hello, this is Sugar Care Clinic's AI receptionist. The clinic asks for 8 to 10 hours of fasting before this test. Dr. Rao has Wednesday at 8:30 or Friday at 9. Which suits you?

  3. Patient

Wednesday. Can I take my morning tablet before coming?

  4. Pluxo

I can't advise on medicines, but I've noted your question so the team can reply. You're booked for Wednesday at 8:30.

  5. Your team

The medicine question arrives on WhatsApp with the booking, for a nurse or the doctor to answer.

Languages

11 languages, and it follows the caller.

The receptionist speaks English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the patient starts in and switches if they do, so a caller who opens in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.

You choose which languages your clinic offers and which one it greets in. A clinic in Pune might greet in Marathi and offer Hindi and English. A clinic in Bengaluru might offer five.

What it costs

One published price, minutes included.

Core is ₹2,999 a month plus GST. It includes 250 AI call minutes every month, unlimited WhatsApp, reminders and follow-ups, and your first doctor. There is no setup fee and no commission on bookings.

Paying for a longer term takes 8 percent off quarterly and 20 percent off yearly. Extra doctors start at ₹999 a month each and get cheaper as the team grows. If a busy month uses more than the included minutes, top-ups cost ₹5.50 to ₹7.50 a minute depending on the pack, bought ahead from the dashboard.

Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page, which also works out the total for your number of doctors and term. For how this compares with other tools sold to Indian clinics, see the AI receptionist pricing guide.

What it does not do

Where it stops, on purpose.

A receptionist that oversteps is worse than one that misses a call. These are the lines Pluxo does not cross.

  • It does not give medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose, even when a caller insists. It says the doctor will look at it properly and offers a slot.
  • In an emergency it tells the caller to hang up and call their local emergency number, before anything else.
  • It does not read out reports or approve prescription refills. It notes the request and your team follows up.
  • It never offers a time that is not in a doctor’s real schedule, and never double-books.
  • It does not pretend to be human. It says it is the clinic’s AI receptionist in its first sentence.
  • It does not quote a price you have not given it. Anything it cannot answer goes to your team on WhatsApp, with the conversation attached.

No. It does not give medication guidance. It tells them what your clinic's written preparation instructions say, and notes any question for your team.
