Missed calls are missed patients. An AI voice agent answers all of them.
A clinic's phone goes unanswered a third of the time: mid-consultation, after hours, on holidays. Pluxo's voice agent picks up in under a second, speaks the caller's language, books the slot, and sends the confirmation on WhatsApp before the call ends.

Why a ringing phone costs patients.
- 01
Roughly one in three calls to a clinic rings out, and most of those callers never call back.
- 02
An IVR ("press 1 for appointments") loses older patients and anyone in a hurry.
- 03
After-hours calls go to nobody. The patient with a fever at 10 pm finds a clinic that answers.
- 04
The receptionist is on one call while two more wait, and the doctor's day fills unevenly.
- 05
A voice tool that only speaks Hindi and English loses the Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali callers.
A voice agent that books, not just answers.
Real conversation, not an IVR
The caller says what they need in their own words. It asks the one or two questions a receptionist would, and books.
Books into the doctor's real slots
It knows each doctor's consulting hours and slot length. It never offers a time that does not exist and never double-books.
Confirms on WhatsApp mid-call
The slots go to the caller's WhatsApp while they are still on the line; they tap one to confirm. Fewer misheard names, no callbacks to fix a time.
Escalates properly
Emergencies go to your emergency number, or the caller is told to call emergency services. Requests outside hours, or callers asking for a person, reach your team on WhatsApp with the transcript and a tap to approve.
Your number, your caller ID
Forward your existing number. Callers see and dial the number they always have. Switch it off whenever you want to answer yourself.
Every call transcribed and summarised
Transcript, outcome and what the caller wanted, in the dashboard, so the front desk knows who to chase and why.
When the patient wants a time you don't offer.
An example with a made-up clinic. The caller speaks Kannada; it is shown here in English.

Hello, this is Nandi Clinic's AI receptionist. How can I help?
- Caller
Can I come on Sunday? I work all week.
- Pluxo
The clinic is closed on Sundays. The closest slot is Saturday at 5:30 in the evening. Shall I send it to your WhatsApp?
- Caller
Saturday doesn't work. Can the doctor see me Sunday morning?
- Pluxo
I'll ask the team and they'll confirm on WhatsApp. I've noted your name and number.
Nobody has to press 1.
An IVR reads a menu and waits for a key. Older patients hang up, and anyone in a hurry presses 0 and waits. A voice agent listens to what the caller says in their own words, asks the one or two questions a receptionist would, and books.
It also hears what the caller means. “Acidity” goes to a physician or gastroenterologist, not to cardiology because the word “heart” appeared in “heartburn”. A fall goes to orthopaedics, not to whoever has a free slot.
Speaks 11 Indian languages, and switches when the patient does.
The receptionist speaks English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the patient starts in and switches if they do, so a caller who opens in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.
You choose which languages your clinic offers and which one it greets in. A clinic in Pune might greet in Marathi and offer Hindi and English. A clinic in Bengaluru might offer five.
One monthly price, call minutes included.
Core is ₹2,999 a month plus GST. It includes 250 AI call minutes every month, unlimited WhatsApp, reminders and follow-ups, at the same price for any number of doctors. There is no setup fee and no commission on bookings.
Paying for a longer term takes 8 percent off Core quarterly and 20 percent off yearly. Get Found, for Google and AI search, is ₹1,499 a month with the first doctor included; extra doctors start at ₹999 a month each and get cheaper as the team grows. If a busy month needs more call minutes, you add them from the dashboard.
Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page, which also works out the total for your number of doctors and term. For how this compares with other tools sold to Indian clinics, see the AI receptionist pricing guide.
What it will never do.
A receptionist that oversteps is worse than one that misses a call. These are the lines Pluxo does not cross.
- It does not give medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose, even when a caller insists. It says the doctor will look at it properly and offers a slot.
- In an emergency, the call goes straight to your emergency number, or the caller is told to call emergency services, as your clinic has chosen.
- It does not read out reports or approve prescription refills. It notes the request and your team follows up.
- It never offers a time that is not in a doctor’s real schedule, and never double-books.
- It does not pretend to be human. It says it is the clinic’s AI receptionist in its first sentence.
- It does not quote a price you have not given it. Anything it cannot answer goes to your team on WhatsApp, with the conversation attached.
It also calls back.
Enquiries from your ads are called back within minutes, and patients get the reminders and follow-ups their doctor advised. How enquiry follow-up works.
